The President of the Federal Republic of Germany, H.E. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, paid a State Visit to Ghana from Sunday 2 to Tuesday 4 November 2025. The programme in Accra featured a Guard of Honour at Jubilee House, bilateral talks with H.E. President John Dramani Mahama, a State Luncheon, a wreath-laying at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, an engagement with young Ghanaian innovators in the digital sector, and an evening reception at the German Ambassador’s Residence.
On Tuesday, the German President travelled to Kumasi for courtesy calls and cultural engagements, including a meeting with His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.
