
H.E. Prof. Ohene Adjei, Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to the Federal Republic of Germany with concurrent accreditation to the Republic of Lithuania, has presented his Letters of Credence to the President of Lithuania, H.E. President of Lithuania- Gitanas Nausėda in Vilnius.

The presentation of credentials formally marks the Ambassador’s assumption of duty and reflects Ghana’s continued commitment to strengthening diplomatic and economic relations with Lithuania.
During the visit, the Ambassador held bilateral discussions with senior officials of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including the Vice Minister and the Deputy Director in charge of Africa and the Americas. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in key areas such as digitalization, cyber security, agriculture, education, and investment promotion.

Both sides expressed a shared interest in deepening engagement and exploring practical avenues for collaboration, including institutional partnerships and increased business exchanges.
As part of the visit, the Ambassador also engaged with members of the Ghanaian community in Lithuania. He commended their contributions and encouraged them to remain law-abiding, united, and committed to excellence, while maintaining strong ties with Ghana.

The visit represents an important step in advancing Ghana–Lithuania relations and creating new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
